What areas do you cover?

We are located near Birmingham and cater for parties throughout the West Midlands. Anything within a 10 mile radius of B62 will receive free delivery, set-up and collection. If we are required to travel further then a small supplementary cost of 25p per mile, per journey will be charged. Please contact us for more details.

What age do you recommend for a Slumbertime Sleepover party?

Whether it's a sleepover, a party or a wedding, we recommend that our equipment is suitable for children from the ages of 5 - 12.

How many children can be catered for?

We currently have enough tents for a party of 6. However this is due to increase so watch this space.

Delivery and set up considerations?

As you can appreciate in order to set up a beautifully themed sleepover it takes a lot of equipment and accessories. We transport all of our stock via a car and trailer. Requirements/Information

  1. We require parking for the car and trailer close to the party venue. If there is limited parking or access then unfortunately we may not be able to fulfil your booking. Please contact us to discuss options if this is the case.
  2. We can only set up in downstairs rooms. These should be cleared in preparation for our arrival as we are not insured to assist in furniture removal.
  3. We aim to set up a sleepover party during the afternoon prior to the event and collection will be made around 10am the following day. Set up and collection times will be arranged at time of booking.
  4. It normally takes around 1.5 - 2 hours to set up a party, depending on the number of guests.

How much space will I need for a Slumbertime Sleepover?

We use a slim full-length single mattress (75cm x 190cm) as we believe that airbeds are unreliable and don't offer the same level of comfort. Our tents are then placed over the top of the mattress and the breakfast trays at the foot of the bed. Therefore the total amount of space required for each bed is 1.9m x 1.1m. Please factor in enough space to safely move around the tents. There are numerous possibilities of layout - some examples can be seen below. Please contact us to discuss options suitable for your space.

Where can the tents be used?

All of our tents and equipment are for indoor use only.

Are the tents, bedding and equipment washed frequently?

Yes - all bedding is washed using non-biological detergent after each use. Tent covers are removable and washable. All other items are cleaned and disinfected where possible.

Do you require access to a power supply?

No. All of our accessories are battery powered for safety reasons.

What are your booking/payments/damage and cancellation terms and conditions?

Booking a Slumbertime Sleepover The first step to booking a party is to either complete the online booking enquiry form or email us at enquiries@slumbertimesleepovers.co.uk to discuss your requirements. Once an agreed date has been selected a £50 (non-refundable) deposit is required to confirm your date. The hirer will be sent a confirmation email and invoice for the outstanding balance as well as a £50 damage deposit (no later than 14 days prior to the party). On the day of the party and once set up, a hire agreement will need to be signed by the hirer, which will itemise the items delivered and confirm the terms and conditions. On collection, all items will be checked and any damages will be taken out of the £50 security deposit. If no damages occur then the security deposit will be returned to you within 48 Hours. Hirers will be notified of any damages that occur. Please note - smoking/pets are not permitted in the vicinity of Slumbertime Sleepovers equipment. Cancellation Policy Cancellation within 14 days of the confirmed party booking date will result in the loss of the £50 deposit. Please make yourself familiar with our full Terms and Conditions which detail our cancellation policy. Damage to Slumbertime Sleepover Items As we are a family business we take care of our items to ensure the safety of your children. Therefore we inspect every item of property when it's collected. We understand that where kids are concerned things will get broken and that accidents happen. However, where damage does occur then we need to replace those items. Our Terms and Conditions explain the damage/replacement conditions in detail.

What about COVID19?

We take health and safety extremely seriously and we didn't operate at all during the major lockdowns. Even though things are beginning to return to normal, we are still: - - following all of the government guidance on social distancing - wearing masks when in your property if you'd like us to - undertaking twice-weekly lateral flow tests - thoroughly cleaning all equipment between parties
